Even though my wife and I formally created Access1 Business Services, LLC in 2005, the concept of Access1 started about 25 years ago. While selling and customizing software for medical offices, it became apparent that for many small offices there was a gap in services. There was great demand for qualified medical billers and there were a significant number of these talented and experienced people available. The problem was that the need and the availability were not usually in the same location! Because Raintree software is built on a true client/server foundation it is ideal for remote access. This enables any user with internet access the ability to seamlessly and securely work from any location while allowing the owner complete access. It is like having the best medical biller available sitting down the hall in your back room! You still maintain total control of all funds and original documents while a team of experienced professionals do all the work. Due to efficiencies discovered throughout this process, we are normally able to provide your service for less than employing your own staff member, paying for postage, etc. Through the Access1 Portal you have 24/7 access to all of your records, ledgers, schedules, and so on. The only reason your patients would ever know you have a service is if you tell them! With the addition of cutting edge EMR/EHR (electronic medical/health records) to the software, you now have the ability to do your billing, scheduling, AND the patient medical records all in one place. This system can be hosted at your office or at ours.

As our billing service has grown we have added an entire suite of other options to assist the small to medium sized business. The more we rely on computers to help organize our businesses the amount of data being stored has continually grown creating the need for more reliable backup systems. We have offered a state of the art offsite backup system for several years powered by Iron Mountain. While many remote backup systems exist, we feel that offering a “monitored” system is critical. We assist you with the proper selection of files to be backed up as well as actually restoring your files from time to time to assure you that you do have a functional system.

As many medium sized offices do not have the budget for a full time IT person on staff, we created IT Works! to fill this void. We provide a monthly “service check” for your computer. Much like changing the oil on your car will help extend the life of your car and keeps it running like new, our checkup will do the same for your computer. We do all the basic maintenance that you know you should do but never find the time, as well as check “under the hood” for upcoming maintenance needs. We try and keep your system running just like when you first installed it.

We also offer other services for the small to medium office such as efficiency consulting, software evaluation and web design.
